Ilex macfadyenii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Aquifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Greater Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan caribbean holly. Nama ilmiah Ilex macfadyenii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Gerhard Walpers pada tahun 1922.
