Ilex mucugensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Aquifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Ilex mucugensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Milton Groppo pada tahun 2007.
