Ilex ovalifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Aquifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Guianas. Nama ilmiah Ilex ovalifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer pada tahun 1818.
