Ilex theezans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Aquifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Ilex theezans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1843.
