Impatiens aurella merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Balsaminaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat hingga Amerika Serikat barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan paleyellow touch-me-not. Nama ilmiah Impatiens aurella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1901.
