Impatiens elegans merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Balsaminaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India barat daya (Tamil Nadu). Nama ilmiah Impatiens elegans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Henry Beddome pada tahun 1859.
