Indigofera atriceps subsp. ramosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga RD Kongo dan Malawi. Nama ilmiah Indigofera atriceps subsp. ramosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Arthur John Cronquist pada tahun 1960.
