Indigofera vicioides subsp. excelsa merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Indigofera vicioides subsp. excelsa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Brian David Schrire pada tahun 2012.
