Ipomoea bahiensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari French Guiana hingga Bolivia timur. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea bahiensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1819.
