Ipomoea bathycolpos adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea bathycolpos pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernst Hans Hallier pada tahun 1893.
