Ipomoea blepharophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea blepharophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Hans Hallier pada tahun 1893.
