Ipomoea crispa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea crispa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1893.
