Ipomoea lanata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semak dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh merambat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea lanata diperkenalkan oleh Eileen Adelaide Bruce pada tahun 1937.
