Ipomoea praecox merupakan tumbuhan . Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kuba barat. Nama ilmiah Ipomoea praecox pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Wright pada tahun 1870.
