Ipomopsis congesta subsp. frutescens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah selatan dan tenggara hingga New Mexico barat laut. Nama ilmiah Ipomopsis congesta subsp. frutescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1980.
