Ipomopsis congesta subsp. montana merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon hingga Nevada dan California timur. Nama ilmiah Ipomopsis congesta subsp. montana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Lincoln Constance pada tahun 1956.
