Ipomopsis congesta subsp. pseudotypica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Montana hingga South Dakota barat. Nama ilmiah Ipomopsis congesta subsp. pseudotypica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Lincoln Constance pada tahun 1980.
