Ipomopsis spicata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat-tengah dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Ipomopsis spicata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1956.
