Iris halophila var. sogdiana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Iran hingga Mongolia dan Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Iris halophila var. sogdiana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1911.
