Iris histrio merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye selatan-tengah hingga Lebanon. Nama ilmiah Iris histrio diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1872.
