Iris orientalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Yunani timur laut hingga Türkiye barat dan tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellowband iris. Nama ilmiah Iris orientalis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Philip Miller pada tahun 1768.
