Iris × vinicolor merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan winecolor iris. Nama ilmiah Iris × vinicolor diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1927.
