Isachne elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari anak benua India hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Isachne elegans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nicol Alexander Dalzell pada tahun 1861.
