Isachne polygonoides merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Isachne polygonoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1877.
