Isachne setosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India barat daya dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Isachne setosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cecil Ernest Claude Fischer pada tahun 1932.
