Isachne sylvestris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam, China (Fujian, Guangdong), Semenanjung Malaysia, hingga Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Isachne sylvestris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1905.
