Isatis iberica merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Transkaukasia. Nama ilmiah Isatis iberica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian von Steven pada tahun 1812.
