Iseilema prostratum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari anak benua India hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Iseilema prostratum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nils Johan Andersson pada tahun 1856.
