Iseilema trichopus merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Australia Barat bagian timur laut hingga Northern Territory. Nama ilmiah Iseilema trichopus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1935.
