Isodon megathyrsus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Isodon megathyrsus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ludwig Emil Diels pada tahun 1985.
