Isoetes japonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Isoetaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media yang tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang. Nama ilmiah Isoetes japonica diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun pada tahun 1862.
