Isoetes occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Isoetaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kepulauan Aleut hingga Amerika Serikat barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan western quillwort. Nama ilmiah Isoetes occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis Forniquet Henderson pada tahun 1900.
