Isoglossa ciliata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique selatan hingga Provinsi Cape selatan. Nama ilmiah Isoglossa ciliata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1888.
