Ixia brunneobractea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat (Pegunungan Bokkeveld). Nama ilmiah Ixia brunneobractea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gwendoline Joyce Lewis pada tahun 1962.
