Ixia polystachya merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white-and-yellow-flower cornlily. Nama ilmiah Ixia polystachya pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1762.
