Ixora roxburghii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Ixora roxburghii diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ernst Otto Kuntze pada tahun 1891.
