Ixora scandens merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Nama ilmiah Ixora scandens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Cornelis Eliza Bertus Bremekamp pada tahun 1937.
