COSTA RICAN JATROPHA Jatrophacostaricensis G.L.Webster & Poveda
Jatropha costaricensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nikaragua (Matagalpa) hingga Kosta Rika (Guanacaste). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan costa rican jatropha. Nama ilmiah Jatropha costaricensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Grady Linder Webster pada tahun 1978.
