Juncus brachyspathus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur laut hingga Korea Utara. Nama ilmiah Juncus brachyspathus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Maximowicz pada tahun 1859.
