Juncus exsertus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Juncus exsertus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Georg Philipp Buchenau pada tahun 1875.
