Juncus hemiendytus var. abjectus merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Idaho tengah hingga Nevada utara dan California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan herman's dwarf rush. Nama ilmiah Juncus hemiendytus var. abjectus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Joseph Hermann pada tahun 1986.
