Juncus heterophyllus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Juncaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media yang tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Mediterania barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Juncus heterophyllus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Léon Jean Marie Dufour pada tahun 1825.
