Juncus lomatophyllus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Juncus lomatophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1821.
