Juncus secundus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada tenggara hingga Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lopsided rush. Nama ilmiah Juncus secundus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ambroise Marie François Joseph Palisot de Beauvois pada tahun 1813.
