Juncus soranthus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tenggara Rusia hingga Mongolia barat dan Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Juncus soranthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Gustav von Schrenk pada tahun 1843.
