Juncus thomsonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga China bagian selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Juncus thomsonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Franz Georg Philipp Buchenau pada tahun 1867.
