Juniperus rigida merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil atau pohon dari famili Cupressaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan temple juniper. Nama ilmiah Juniperus rigida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philipp Franz von Siebold pada tahun 1846.
