Justicia bartlettii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Justicia bartlettii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emery Clarence Leonard pada tahun 1972.
