Justicia carnea merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tenggara dan selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Justicia carnea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1831.
