Justicia carthaginensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Justicia carthaginensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1760.
